FUNCTION FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES

Cortina Inn's award winning chefs provide a full range of culinary treats from hot morning pastries to picnic lunches to sumptuous banquet dinners. Meal and snack services are provided when and where our guest’s request and we can arrange anything you might need, from a working lunch to a private dinner for two hundred. Cortina Inn is also the area's premier caterer for special events.  We are always happy to arrange special menus for your appetite or budgetary requirements.

The number of event guests must be guaranteed 72 business hours prior to an event.  The minimum charge is based on your guarantee.  We are prepared to serve 5% over the guarantee, at additional cost.  The applicable Vermont State Rooms & Meals Tax and 18% gratuity will be added to all menu and beverage service arrangements.  All the listed menu and beverage prices are subject to change until confirmed with a signed Banquet Event Order.

Cash Bar:The Cash Bar is designed for functions where your guests and participants are responsible for their own beverages.  This full service bar offers a complete selection of beers, wine, liquor and non-alcoholic drinks.  There is a set-up fee of $50.00 for groups of 50 people or less.  A 10% state tax is included in each price.

Alcohol Service Policy
We are required by Vermont State law to uphold all statutes and Liquor Commission regulations regarding service of alcohol.

Servers at the Cortina Inn are trained to recognize intoxicated behavior, to assess individual limits, and to limit or refuse service when necessary. Service of alcohol at functions is governed by the following policies:

No guest who is under the legal drinking age of 21 years or who appears to be and cannot furnish acceptable proof of legal age will be served at any function.

We may choose not to serve alcohol at a function with a significant number of underage guests, or where, in our opinion, circumstances might encourage violation of state alcohol regulations.

No guest who appears to be, in our judgment, intoxicated or shows signs of intoxication will be served at any function.

We reserve the right to limit or suspend service during any function where, in our opinion, the Cortina Inn and Resort’s liquor license or the comfort and safety of our guests may be in jeopardy.

No alcohol beverages may be brought onto our licensed premises.

Beverages cannot be removed from the premises and/or supervised area.

Only one drink can be served to one person at a time.

Alcohol service will cease one half-hour prior to the end of the function.  Non-alcoholic beverages only will be available.

State law requires that beverage service be suspended at 2:00 a.m. nightly
